Two of the codes related to partial blocked DPF and the others the DPF pressure sensor. So the faulty pressure sensor was the reason the car was not self cleaning the DPF. The pressure sensor is located adjacent to the car battery so was an easy DIY fix. I bought one online for £35 and fitted it in 20 mins. Ford charge over £200 for the part DashCommand and Torque both read boost pressure as roughly -6psi with the engine off and at idle.. it only gets to 0 and positive pressures when the MAP reading equals and goes higher than the Baro, 144kpa. -6psi does actually make sense given the readings. 144kpa = 20.88psi. EGT3 is the one you will want to watch for the regen. This is the post DPF temp probe. EGT2 is post DOC, and EGT1 is pre DOC. Normal driving, EGT3 will reach around 500-800F. You will know the system is in regen with temps up around 1060F. It is very clear when the regen process is going! The DPF supervisor module is a sub-system of the DPF co-ordinator module. DPF Fuel Management Module. The DPF fuel management module controls the following functions: Timing and quantity of the 4 split injections per stroke (pilot, main and 2 post injections) Injection pressure and the transition between the 3 different calibration levels of
Like any sensor they can go faulty and flag up a false warning. The fact the light has gone out and can be cancelled probably means its OK and the DPF has regenerated. Being electronic they are normally mounted some distance away from the hot exhaust but their location can be found by tracing back the two tubes that lead from the DPF.

In this video we look at a common diesel particulate filter related fault which is highlighting the failure of the differential pressure sensor hoses. The Ford model I'm having a heap of issues, notably low power in low revs and failure to start after filling up with petrol. The only thing I can think of is the purge valve is stuck on, not closing fully, or has a leak (most likely). Coming from a Mondeo MK5, I half expected the S-Max to give me some useful info on DPF_Load & DPF_Soot, however it can only give me the weight of soot. I have no idea what is good, bad or indifferent. At least it could give me the Differential Pressure, but again, not sure if the figure is telling me the DP sensor is blocked. N02gt.
