Bank 1 is on the side where cylinder 1 is located; that’s for any car. On the Mercedes – Benz V6 and V8 engines Bank 1 refers to the right side of the vehicle, the passenger side, for left-hand drive vehicles. Bank 1 Sensor 1 is the upstream (pre-cat) on the passenger side. Bank 1 Sensor 2 is the passenger side’s downstream (post cat).
In relation to the different models I considered both on my search and these are some of my observations: C280: It has the smoother engine and feels more like a luxury car/more elegant than the c230. I found a white plug under sil plate but there is something plugged into it. what are my options for a ipod hook up. I heard of one behind radio unit is this hard to do any instruction, what is the part #. thanks. R.
